We have decided to blog about gadgets and games. In this blog we will be blogging about Playstation 3, xbox 360, Nintendo Wii, Iphone 3G and the new Nintendo DS i.
Playstation 3
The amazing playstation 3 was released on the 17th November 2006. The playstation 3 comes in three different sizes. (40gb, 60gb and 80gb) For a 40gb playstation 3 it will cost you about £250 and the 60gb will cost about £280 and the 80gb will cost about £300. The playstation 3 is used for entertainment and can also be used to watch DVD's and look at pictures and play music. The DVD,s can be watched in blu-ray as the Playstation 3 has a blu-ray player. On the playstation 3 you can play many different games from action and killing to driving and calm games. Many new games come out on the ps3 every month. so on the 17th November 2009 assassin's creed 2 will be coming out and coming out tomorow on the 9th june 2009 Prototype is coming out.
The playstation 3 has a wireless controller and that controller is also motion sensored. different games use different feature such as a game called L.A.I.R uses full motion sensor in the Handset. the Handset is call a six-axis controller. We think that the Playstation 3 a clever console with a variety of games and is suitable for anyone of any age.

Xbox 360
The Xbox 360 was released before the playstation 3 on the 22nd November 2005. This console isn't as sufisticated as the ps3. the ps3 has motion sensor in it's controller when the xbox 360 doesn't. But recently Microsoft has announced a new game called "project natal"

This console can basically do everything that the ps3 can do but the xbox can't surf the internet but the ps3 can. The premium xbox with a 60gb harddrive costs around £170 and then there is an Xbox 360 elite that cost about £220. The new Project natal will have lots of new and amazing technology such as a camera that sensors all your movement and turns you into the character on the screen. It also has a microphone which sensors your emotion and you can talk to characters on the games. The Xbox 360 is not as complex as the PS3 but is still a very fun and amusing.

Nintendo Wii
The nintendo Wii wasn't released very long ago on the 8th December 2006. This console is very clever because you are kind of the character. the remote is wireless and fully motion sensitive. Int the controller there is a little speaker that plays little sound effects to make it seem more realistic. The Nintendo Wii console cost £180 with one remote the console and wii sports which is a very fun and interesting game. A new game coming out on the wii is an amazing game called Rock Band 2. It comes out on the 26th June 2009. This is a game where you can play on the guitar, bass, drums or singing with the microphone. The Nintendo Wii is for younger people who want to get fit and to also play games.

Iphone 3G
The amazing iphone 3G was released for sale on the 11th July 2008 and has made apple an amazing amount of money. The iphone is a touch screen phone that has a 2 mega-pixel camera and 3G connection which allows you to get fast internet speeds anywhere. The iphone 3G has a great app store which sells loads of useful little gadgets and entertaining games to keep you ammuzed for ages. The iphone is used as a mobile but can be used for many other things as well. such as a music player, a video player and also a little held hold game system. The Iphone 3G 8gb costs about £350 but you can also buy the 16gb for about £400. There is a new Iphone coming out on the 19th June 2009. It is called an Iphone 3GS. The "s" stands for speed and it claims to be twice as fast as the Iphone 3G. I think that the Iphone 3G is an amazing phone with great technology and is very fun to play with. The Iphone 3G uses touch screen technology and also an MP4 player. We think that the Iphone is for anyone, anywhere because you can use the Internet anywhere and apps to help you.

Nintendo DS i
Nintendo have brought out a new DS called the DS i. It came out on the 4th May 2009. It is different to the normal DS because it has a camera on the front and back and it also has a microphone and a bit which is touchscreen. The DS i is used for playing exciting games and can also be used for chatting with friends on Pictochat. The Nintendo DS i costs around £130 but you can get it cheaper. Games on the DS i are always coming out but some new games coming out are Ghostbusters which comes out on the 16th June 2009. We think that the DS i is a good new console but we think that it could get better.

Which one is the best?
Overall we think that the best game console or gadget to get is the Iphone 3G/S. We think this because the Iphone is not just a phone but also a handheld game console with some amazing features.
